The History of Clicket
In 1943, Edgar Palaver, a resident of Gothenburg, Sweden, had an idea - a vision even.
The game that he envisioned, as you may well have guessed, was Clicket. A 'real' Clicket if you like, played on a big board with pool-sized balls.
Though a gifted engineer, Edgar was unable to turn his idea into reality, however. His experiments with cogs, wheels and magnets never quite got him all the way.
In 2010, his great nephew Nils Kareta discovered his blueprints and even some of his abandoned inventions. This, along with some features on the iPhone just purchased by his wife, gave him an idea.
The rest is app history; the best game ever created.
